How we meet your needs...

Staffing

We are staffed by qualified, experienced Clinical Physiologists who are registered under the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists (RCCP) and accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography (BS0). We are supported by a cardiology consultant.

Time and cost effective

Our considerable experience enable us to accurately perform and report on a high volume of tests. We aim to maintain waiting times to be less than two weeks.

Flexibility

We can provide services in a range of community settings and move services to different clinics/locations to meet your patients requirements. We can provide services on a weekly or less frequent commitment.

Adaptable report formats

We can adapt the test report formats and conclusions within agreed terminology (within the limitations of national professional guidelines), to suit the requirements of clinicians and will give an indication of whether further investigation or referral may need to be considered. Urgent or significant findings are always brought to the attention of the relevant clinician. Routine reports are currently dispatched within an agreed timescale.

Training

We are happy to offer echo training to any GP's with a special interest who were wishing to develop echo expertise, or work within the heart failure service.

Information security

We use a secure, web based echo image storage and reporting system, Ultralinq, which enables clinical staff to review echo images and reports remotely, for a review of urgent/significant clinical findings and for peer review and audit purposes. All of our systems are password protected and we are registered under and adhere to, the Data Protection Act.

We can provide service in the community setting using a high specification machine- the GE Vivid Q. The GE Vivid Q is portable, high specification echo equipment which stores images enabling post study review and post processing. We use a secure, web-based echo image storage and reporting system, Ultralinq, which enables appropriate clinical staff access to image and reports.

Provision can be made for local acute Trust Cardiologists to have access to echo images and reports.
